February is Culture Month

Each class is doing a project about a differnt country. The school will have a a Food stall at the Bake Sale this Friday to taste foods from various countries. Parents will come in to talk.

Fourth Class: Italy
Fifth Class: Africa
Sixth Class: Japan

Spelling Bee School Final

The winners of The Spelling Bee Grand Finale were Dumni James, Aleeza Sarwar, Laura Booth, Alex Davis, Conor Booth and Mark Phelan. Congratualtions to Conor Booth in 6th class our overall winner who will be representing The Heath National School in the Laois Finals. This is taking place on Tuesday 25th February in St Pauls National School.

Mid Term

School closes for the mid term on Friday 14th February and re-opens on Monday 24th February.

Spikeball 18th/19th February

Spikeball takes place during the mid-term. Boys Spikeball takes place on Tuesday 18th February from 3.00-4.15pm. Girls Spikeball takes place on Wednesday 19th February from 3.00-4.15pm.
