On Friday 17th June at 1pm we are having an open afternoon to celebrate our extended building. The afternoon will commence with the raising of the school's first Green Flag followed by the burying of our time capsule which concludes our 1916 centenary celebrations. The formalities will conclude with the blessing of the new buildings with refreshments afterwards in the school hall. Parents and the local community are all invited to attend.
End of Year Mass takes place on 24th June at 10am followed by Sports Day at 11am for all classes.
Sixth Class will visit Lough Boora on Tuesday 2nd June. The bus leaves at 9.30am and leaves Lough Boora at approximately 2pm. We hope they have a good day.
6th Class are hosting a Bake Sale on Friday 10th June. They will also host a culture day where foods from all around the world will be available to sample.
A Walk to School takes place on Thursday 2nd June at 9am from the Church from 1st-6th Class only. Parents Welcome
4th Class Tour takes place next Thursday 2nd June. They will visit the Viking Museum and the Wax Museum. We hope they have a great day.
School will be closed next Friday 3rd June due to Staff Inservice Day.
Every Monday for 6-8 weeks first and second class will have football training from the GAA. Every Thursday 1st and 2nd class will have hurling training. The Girl's Rounders Blitz take place in Emo GAA Club on Wednesday 1st June. We wish The Heath Best of Luck
Rounders Training takes place on Tuesday from 3.15pm-4.30pm in the Heath GAA The school rounders league is now up and running with matches taking place at lunchtime.
