Canadian Author Darlene Foster will visit 4th class on Monday 12th June @11.30 to discuss being an Author. She writes about a fictional character called Amanda who travels to different countries. The books are called "Amanda In ---------". She is researching Ireland for her next book

An information night for new parents will take place on Wednesday 24th May at 7.30pm in the school. New infants will be invited to visit the school on the afternoon of Monday 12th or Tuesday 13th June, an invitation will issue to each family at the start of June.
Soccer League Final takes place on Friday 26th May. All children are welcome to wear in their Jerseys.
Children can wear their summer uniform to school from next Monday 22nd May. Summer Uniform consists of school yellow polo shirt and school shorts (Heath shorts or plain black). On cold days the children should also wear their tracksuit tops and bottoms.
Homework in all classes will finish on Thursday 1st June First Holy Communion takes place this Saturday 20th May at 12.00 with refreshments afterwards in the church hall. Traditionally parents other than 2nd class assist the Parents Council with refreshments and catering on the day. If you are able to assist or provide refreshments, please contact any member of the Parents Council
Junior and Senior Infants will perform a showcase of the songs they have learned this year. This is in association with Laois Music Generation and Nuala Kelly. Parents are welcome at 12.15pm on Wednesday 7th June. On conclusion of the performance parents will be welcome to bring their children home.
