The diocese is running a family picnic on Sunday, August 27th in Punchestown Race Course. This will be an exciting day and families from the school are welcome to attend. There will be music and entertainment provided with food stalls and picnic facilities. You are invited to bring a picnic and a little extra to share. The picnic is from 2pm-6pm with  the official launch at 3pm. Bishop Nulty will lead a walk around the racecourse after the opening. It promises to be a fun day of celebration for all our families.

The school will close for the summer holidays on Friday 30th June at 12.30pm and re-open on Wednesday 30th August at 9am. We hope all the children and their Families have a lovely summer.

The Heath Table Championship (A Handicapped mixed event from 4th to 6th class) has been taking place every year since 1990. The name of every winner is on the perpetual shield since 1990 except the 1999 winner. Will anyone with information on the 1999 winner of the Heath National School Table Tennis championship, please email the office [email protected]. Thanks

Sports Day will take place after the 6th class mass on Tuesday 27th June

The end of year 6th class mass will take place in the school at 10am on Tuesday 27th June.

6th class children will visit Delphi on 21st, 22nd and 23rd June. The cost of the trip is €250.00 The money can be paid into the office between now and the tour. The bus will leave the school at 7.30am sharp on Wednesday 21st to bring the children to the train station.

You can pay for your childs' school tour in the office or alternatively you can pay on line through the E - payment link that will be sent by the school by email.
Junior/Senior Infants Tour takes place on Wednesday 7th June. They will visit Jumping Jacks Fun Factory Tullamore. The cost per child is €18. The bus will leave at 9am and will be back by 2.40pm.
1st/2nd Class School Tour  takes place on Wednesday 14th June. They will visit Glendeer Pet Farm, Athlone and Jumping Jacks Fun Factory in Tullamore. The cost per child is €28 and includes hot food.  The bus leaves at 9am sharp and returns at 3.15pm
3rd Class School Tour  takes place on Friday 15th June. They visit Kentstown N.S where they will visit their pen pals. They will then visit Funtasia in Drogheda. The cost is €35 and includes hot food and a drink. The bus leaves the school at 8.15am and returns at 5pm that day.
4th Class School Tour takes place on Thursday 22nd June. They visit Adventure World Summer Tours in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. The bus will leave at 9am sharp and return at approximately 5.30pm.
5th Class School Tour​ takes place on Tuesday 20th June. They are visiting Jumpzone in the morning and the National Acquatic Centre in the afternoon. The bus will leave at 9am sharp and return at approximately 6.45pm

A coach from The Heath GAA will be coaching 1st, 2nd and 3rd Classes during the month of June

6th Class will visit Pfizer on Tuesday 13th June. The bus will leave at 9am and return at approximately 2.40pm. The students are presenting a workshop on Mindfulness.

 Rugby Training takes place every Monday for the next 6 weeks for Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 1st and 2nd Class. Please ensure your child wears their P.E gear.
