The midterm break commences on Friday 28th October. school closes as normal on this day and re-opens on Monday 7th November. The school wishes everyone an enjoyable midterm and thanks everyone in the school community for their support over the last two months.

Best of Luck to Mr. Dowling and the Boys Football Team in their final today. They face Scoil Bhríde Clonaslee at 3.30pm in O' Moore Park. We hope all the boys and girls in our younger classes will look up to these boys and hope to get to O' Moore Park themselves someday.
Entry Fee: Adults €4. Children Free. OAPS and Students €3.00. We wish our boys team the best of Luck in the Finals. Soccer League continues for 3rd-6th class at lunchtime this week.

Fancy Dress will take place on Friday 28th October for all classes. Junior Infants and Senior Infants can wear their costumes into school. 1st -6th Class wear their school tracksuit and bring a costume with them to school.
There will be football training for the Boys Team tomorrow, Friday 21st, Monday 24th and Tuesday 22nd during school hours.
The annual conker championship for 1st to 6th classes is now under way at break-times and there is also a prize for the biggest and smallest conker!
4th Class have football matches on Friday 21st in Emo. The bus will collect at 12.30pm and return at 2pm. The cost is €3 per child
Portlaoise Fire Department will visit 3rd class on Thursday 20th at 10am
Soccer League takes place every lunchtime except Wednesday for 3rd -6th Class. The soccer League takes place up until Christmas.
Fr. Paddy will say Mass at 9.30am in the School on Friday 21st for 3rd to 6th Class pupils.
