November is Reading Month

Various Events and Activities are being organised across the month in all classes for Reading Month
Reading Sessions take place every Thursday in Junior Infants with Parents and Grandparents from 9.20am-9.50am.

Enrollment for Junior Infants 2015

Enrollment for Junior Infants 2015 takes place this month. Closing Date is Friday 28th November.
Enrollment forms can be picked up from the school office or downloaded from our website www.heathns.ie

RDS Science Fair 10th January

6th  Class will visit the RDS on Saturday 10th January
There project is :Meditation/Mindfulness and Positive Thinking.  Does it help you physically and mentally.

Book Fair

The Book Fair will be arriving in our school tomorrow (Friday 21st ) and will be open until Wednesday the 26th of November. Tomorrow will just be a browsing day but books will be available to purchase from Monday-Wednesday next. Money can be given to your child or parents can come to the fair between 2.00-3.15pm on these days. This is a great opportunity for our school to raise money to help fund our new literacy initiative which we hope to implement in September 2015, so your support would be greatly appreciated

Swimming Starts Wednesday 5th November

Swiimming Starts on Wednesday 5th November for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th class. The price per child is €35 which can be be paid anytime between now and Christmas in the brown envelope provided.
1st/4th Class. Swimming starts at 10.15am, Bus leaves at 9.45am
2nd/3rd Classes. Swimming starts at 11.00am. Bus leaves at 10.30am
