The school is accepting applications for junior infant enrolment for the school year 2019-2020 during the month of November 2018.
Application forms are available from the school website or the school office. Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Friday 30th November 2018. For any further information you may require please contact the school Principal Mr. David O’Brien on 057-8646658 Junior Infants will have Guided Reading every Wednesday for the month of November. All Junior Infant parents are welcome to come in from 9.00am to 9.30am
The Parents Council are collecting clothes in aid of the School from Thursday 22nd November to Monday 26th November in aid of the school and the LauraLynn House.Items that can be put in the bags include Clothing, Paired Shoes, Handbags, Hats, Bags Scarves, Ties, Belts, Soft Toys and sheets.All bags of clothes can be dropped into the school on those dates.
5th Class Boys will play a football blitz as part of the Portlaoise Parish Initiative. It will take place in the Centre of Excellence beside O Moore Park this Thursday 22nd November. Girls will play at 11.20am and the Boys will play at 12.00pm. Bus will leave at 10.50am
The School Book Fair is returning to our school. Children will get to browse the books on Thursday 15th November. All classes will have an opportunity to purchase books on Friday 16th November, Monday 19th November and Tuesday 20th November. Parents are welcome to come in from 1.40 pm-3.00 pm from the Friday to the Tuesday. Please support as a percentage of sales goes towards new books for the school.
Christmas Plays will take place for Infants classes only this year. The dates are as follows:
Junior Infants Wednesday 19th December at 10.00am Senior Infants Wednesday 19th December at 11.30am |
