School closes on Friday 20th at 12pm for Christmas holidays and re-opens on Monday 6th December at 9am. We hope all the children and their families have a lovely Christmas and A Happy New Year.
Christmas Jumper Day takes place on Friday 20th December in conjunction with local charity P.A.T.H. Children are invited to bring in an item as a donation (e.g Food, Clothes, Toiletries)
Christmas School Plays take place on the following dates:
Tuesday 17th December 10.00am Senior Infants 11.30am 1st Class 1.40pm 6th Class Wednesday 18th December 10.00am Junior Infants 11.30am 4th Class 1.40pm 3rd Class Thursday 19th December 10.00am 5th Class 11.30am 2nd Class Cross Country running has been taking place for 1st to 6th class over the last five weeks. The final run will take place this week. Well done to all the pupils from 1st to 6th who participated, particularly those who ran every week. If your child did not participate , encourage them to take part in our Marathon club, where children are encouraged to walk/run a marathon between January and March.
Road Safety Educational talk for pupils at The Heath NS takes place on Tuesday 7th January for all classes
The choir will be singing some Christmas carols in Laois Shopping centre (oppsite Tesco/beside Born clothing) on Thursday 12th December from 6-7pm. Pupils are asked to wear their full school uniform but can also wear Santa hats/Christmas accessories.
