The GAA football coach will visit The Heath NS. Paul Whelan, the recently appointed Games Promotion Officer from The Heath GAA club will begin coaching Gaelic football in the school every week. Paul will visit the school on Thursdays and Fridays and work with ever class from Junior Infants up to 6th Class. We wish Paul the best of luck in this new venture and hope the children enjoy working with him.

The Lunch Bag will being supplying our school with hot meals on Tuesday 4th June. There will be a launch day on Thursday 30th May when all families will receive details on how to order.

An information night will take place on Wednesday 29th May at 7.30pm in the School Hall for New Infants Parents.
​Invitations will be issued to new infants to visit the school on the afternoon of Monday 17th or Tuesday 18th June

With the weather becoming warmer all children can wear their summer uniform to school from Monday 27th May

Skipathon takes place on Friday 17th of May for all classes. This year the fundraiser is being used to help fund the cost of having Music Generation work in our school on a weekly basis.  Sponsorship classes have been sent home with each child, one card per family. All cards must be returned by Wednesday 15th May. All returned cards will be entered into a raffle for a Sports Voucher

Junior and Senior Infants will perform a showcase of songs they have learned with Nuala Kelly as part of Laois Music Generation. It will take plcae on Tuesday 14th May at 12pm in the school hall and all are welcome.

The Fire Brigade will visit Infants on Monday 13th May. The children will be allowed go into the Fire Engine and explore. 

A 6th Class Transition Workshop will take place on Tuesday 7th May. The cost per pupil is €10
