Parents should note that the school will close for the summer holidays on Tuesday 27th June at 2.30pm and Infants at 1.30pm and not Wednesday 28th June to facilitate staff in-service.

Junior/Senior Infants: Friday 16th June. Dome, Carlow. Pick up 9.15. Return 1.15 approximately. €20 per child 1st/2nd Class: Thursday 22nd June. Reptile Park and Playstation, Kilkenny. Pick up 8.50am. Return 3.30pm approximately €40 per child 3rd/4th Class: Tuesday 6th June. Adventure World Tours@ The Watershed Kilkenny. Pick up 8.30am. Return at 3.00pm approx. €40 pp 5th Class. Friday 9th June. Birr Outdoor Education Centre. Pick Up 8.30am. Return at 6.30pm approximately. 6th Class. Wednesday 21st June. Carlingford Adventure Park. Pick up 8am and return at 8.00pm approximately. €90 per child 6th Class Graduation Mass takes place on Friday 23rd June @11am in the school hall.
Our End of Year Sports Day will take place on Tuesday 20th June (Weather Permitting)
3rd/4th Class GAA Blitz Vs Rath from 10am-12pm in Heath GAA on Thursday 22nd June.
6th Class GAA Blitz takes place on Monday 19th from 10am to 12.30 pm
Heath GAA VS Gaelscoil in Heath GAA 6th Boys/Girls take part in the Rounders Final in the Centre of Excellence on Thursday 15th June. Pick up 9.30. Return @1pm
Rounders Blitz takes place Tuesday 13th June at 9.30am for 5th/6th class in Centre of Excellence. PU 9.15am
The Parents Council have a car wash organised for Sunday 11th June from 10am to 3pm in Portlaoise Plaza.
Laois Sports Partnership have invited 6th Class for Kayaking and a Paddle boarding Session out in Vicarstown on June 8th from 10.00am-12.00pm
