"Funk Your Junk" Fashion Show
The Green School committee are again hard at work this year! As well as painting our school benches and collecting our bottle caps for our mural we are also very excited to announce the details of our "FUNK YOUR JUNK" Trash-ion show!!!! The aim of our fashion show is to show how easy it is to recycle and upcycle old clothes using materials we would usually throw out! Our students are asked to work independently, in pairs or in groups and to get creative making pieces of clothing from junk! The students will be strutting their stuff on the trash-walk on Thursday November 5th.
Secondary school students from Scoil Chriost Rí who got to the finals of Junk Couture 2015 kindly came in to our school last week to show us their amazing creations and to give us some b-inspiration!!!
