This month is January is Science Month. There are loads of activities going on around the school.
3rd Class are studying electricity this month and circuits. Using the story "The Light House Keepers Lunch" 3rd class are making their own working lighthouse with an on/off switch and a working light bulb! They will present them to the school at the end of the month for Science Fair. They will also be entering a school competition where the student will have tow draw and write a brief description of their own invention. The student council will also be around daily with some science fun facts.
All classes will be doing fun science experiments.
We are going to run a class competition in each class. The children have to draw a design of their own invention and write a brief description of it (the infants can just draw a picture of it).
