Junior Infant parents are invited to school each Thursday morning from 9.00am to 9.30am starting Thursday 7th November to Thursday 28th November to read with their children.
Book Club - Our new Scholastic Book Club is up and running! These books are excellent value and make great presents. Go to http//schools.scholastic.ie/heath-n to browse the latest books and order online. It is hoped that brochures will be delivered and distributed in school. For every €1 spent on this month's book club, our school will earn 25c. Orders can be placed throughout November and no later than November 28th 2019.
Each Tuesday at big lunch from 2nd to 5th class are invited to Reading Club in the hall. Bring a book and a cushion!
Readathon- Reading Challenge- Read as many book as you can November !!!! Only one sponsorship card to be completed per family please.
Dress up Day - Dress as your favourite character - Friday 29th November
All classes will be taking part in Paired Reading in school.
Lots of other events are organised such as art competitions, book reviews, short story writing etc. Book vouchers will be given as prizes
