Swimming for Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 5th and 6th classes begins after Christmas. The children will swim every Thursday for six weeks. Junior Infants and 6th Class will swim from 10.30 to 11.15 and Senior Infants and 5th class will swim from 11.15 to 12.00
All children attend swimming unless they have a medical condition that prevents them from doing so. In such circumstances, a doctor’s letter stating the condition is required. The cost of swimming this year is €50 per pupil, which includes transport and entry to the pool. Payment is through the school app or at the school office at any stage in January or February
All pupils will require swimming togs, a swimming hat and a towel. On swimming days, children wear their school tracksuit.
