Concern Primary School Debates
Every year, our 6th class pupils take part in a Debating Competition organised by Concern and the Laois Education Centre.
They learn important skills around research, teamwork, listening and public speaking. A number of our pupils have gone on to debate at very high levels in  secondary school.
Our Debating Team is Lily Belle Monnelly, Grace Caplice, Mae Delaney, Róise Kelly, Rhys O' Neill, Tara O' Regan and Ava McNamee
Well done to our debate team who won a brilliant debate against Roscomroe NS on Monday 15th December. The motion was: Weekends should be 3 days long.

Captain: Lily Munnelly
2nd Speaker: Ava McNamee
3rd Speaker: Mae Delaney
