The Parent’s Council is an active and important partner in our school community. The committee of the Parent’s Council is elected each year at its Annual General Meeting in September. The council meets on a regular basis in the school and undertakes projects in consultation with the Principal and Board of Management which are of benefit to the pupils, parents and staff.

Each year the Parent's Council strives to organise at least one event for each section of our school community. Much of this activity is of a practical nature supporting school functions or endeavouring through fundraising to support school initiatives and improve resources within the school.

The Parent's Council also has an important function in providing a parental perspective on school issues and initiatives and acts as the parental voice in school policy review and development.

The current committee of the Parent's Council is:

Chairperson:      Carmel Keane

Secretary:          Charlene Delaney

Treasurer:          Elaine Bigley

If you are interested in joining the committee or assisting the Parents Council please contact the school office for details.
