Pupil Mobile Phone/Smart Devices/Wearables Policy
This policy covers the use of mobile phones, smart devices and wearables by pupils in the school setting. The increasing availability of technology to young children has benefits but also brings many challenges. The school places the care of its pupils at the heart of its work and is anxious that evolving technology is not used in the school setting to inflict harm on any pupil. The school does not allow pupils to bring or use mobile phones or any other device that can photograph or record into school without the permission of the principal. Parents/guardians are asked to respect our policy for the good of all pupils in the school and to be aware of the capabilities of devices/wearables they are providing to their children.
