Standardised testing in literacy and numeracy is compulsory in all primary schools in Ireland as per Department of Education guidelines. The results of these tests are shared with parents via end of year reports and at parent/teacher meetings. The results must also be shared with the Department of Education who use the results to determine resource levels in primary schools on an annual basis.
The Heath National School share children's test results with parents as Standardised scores. Below is the website which has an information sheet to explain to parents the meaning of standardised test scores.
